To me, Royce Da 5’9″ is like the Derek Fisher of rap. If you don’t know about basketball, that may not sound like a compliment. But Derek Fisher is the consummate point guard. He may not make it to the H.O.F. but believe that his skill & love for the game puts him light years ahead of 90% the competition. Royce’s new mixtape, ‘Bar Exam 3,’ is next up for the vet. About time for another Slaughterhouse album, no?

I was introduced to DJ Hi-Tek years back, when he was part of a group called MOOD, out of the ‘Nati. Even for the 90′s, the album sounded mad futuristic. Never did I guess that he’d go on to be THE DJ Hi-Tek, almost 15 years later. Talib is awesome, always has been.
