As I’ve stated numerous times, I don’t believe in the Illuminati. I do, however, believe that there are forces & energies which can’t be fathomed nor controlled by the average person.
If I did believe in the Illuminati, though, I’d say that Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group is going hard for them right now. Once one’s attention span sneaks past the hypnotic, sonic pulse of the majority of their songs, the lyrical content & subsequent emotion of their material is quite genocidal. & that’s not to say that most rap music isn’t genocidal to a degree, but right now, I’m just talking about the Maybach Music Group.
One song that comes to mind is “Malcolm X (By Any Means).” As the collective sorta pays homage to Malcolm Little’s life, the homage is immediately nullified with random references to killing young Black men & distributing peddling crack cocaine between Islamic acknowledgments. It’s truly an awesome hodge podge of backhanded exaltation. For the most part, MMG makes drug dealer music exclusively, but for every coke rap nuance, there’s an eerily specific term or situation that hints at a much more evil undertone, so to speak.
On more than one occasion, it’s been brought to my attention that Rick Ross’ alter ego – William Roberts – is a cool, lovable chap. I don’t question this, mainly because if it’s true, it further illustrates my point. My point being that the Illuminati (if such an creature exists) is hella slick & nobody’s safe.
By no means is my grandstanding (no pun intended) meant to deter you from enjoying MMG’s music. Please do so, until every nigtastic crevice of your heart pumps hate. Just keep in mind that you’ve been warned. & if the Illuminati’s echo is anything like the werewolf’s bite, youre probably already infected, anyway. & in that case, fuck it, go ham.

The funny part is sometimes, that’s exactly what I’m feeling. Mr. Grands, you’re one helluva wordsmith.
#salute
that watch is crispy though…
Okay…so I wasn’t the only one thinking that.
done surfed for over 2 hours looking at icy watches…good smoke
All i want to know is what is Wale doing over there? (besides getting his money, I get it but…..he doesnt fit in that mold and his music has gotten darker.
His Back To The Feature mixtape was dope and still gets a “spin” ever so often. Not diggin his MMG music.
and yes that is a nice fuckin watch
“and his music has gotten darker.”
I never really liked Wale period. I liked Pill better when he was with Killer MIke’s crew, and Meek Mill is “eh”. I still haven’t listened to the MMG compilation yet but don’t think I’m missing much.
really?! Wale is a beast you are missing out on the young bother
